Multiplication of Any number by 12

Multiplication of Any number by 12
Rule :-
•Place Zeros before and after given number .
•Go on multiplying adding neighbouring number by  the neighbouring numbers until all later
zero is encountered .
Consider following examples :-
Example 1:-
13 ×12 =???
Step1 :- 0130
Step2 :- (2×0) +1 / (2×1) +3   / ( 2×3 ) +0
Step3:-1/5/6
Therefore , 13×12 = 156
Example 2:-
123×12 = ??
Step1:- 01230
Step2:- ( 2×0) + 1 / (2×1) +2 / ( 2×2) +3  / ( 2×3) +0
Step3:- 1/4/7/6
Therefore, 123×12 =1476
Example3:-
258 ×12=??
Step1:- 02580
Step2:- ( 2×0)+2 / (2×2) +5 / (2×5) +8 / (2×8) +0
Step3:- 2/9/18/16
Step4:- 3096
Therefore, 258 ×12 =3096
Example 4:-
786 ×12 =??
Step1:-07860
Step2:- (2×0) +7 / (2×7) +8 / (2×8) +6 / ( 2×6) +0
Step3:- 7/22/22/12
                = 9432
Note:-If the number in each block is greater than 10 then
transfer to next block.
Therefore, 786 ×12=9432
786×12= 9432
It is simple.
