Application of  “One more than previous one”

Q.) If sum of two numbers is 7. Find the greatest value of product of numbers.

》》 For the product to be greatest,  the two numbers must be equal. 》》
Therefore,  7/2 =3.5

Now 3.5 × 3.5 =( 3 .5)^2 =
   = 3 (3+1)/.25
   = 12.25.
Greatest product is 12.25
