capture

Consider for example:

Is 647053 divisible by 11 ?

Simply keeping on subtracting the unit’s digit from the  number ( without units digit)

64705 – 3 = 64702

6470 – 2 = 6468

646 – 8 = 638

63 – 8 = 55

5 – 5 =0 or multiple of 11

If you get 0 or multiple of 11, then the given number is divisible by 11 .

This method also gives you quotient.
To find quotient, move from bottom ( keep on recording the unit’s digit)

58823 is quotient.
